Richard was a great mentor to me at both Mesirov Gelman and again at Ballard Spahr later in my career, and became a good friend to me and my family, and we spoke about our families often. Richard, I will miss you greatly.

My heartfelt condolences to the Jaffe family. I remember Richard fondly as we worked with him at Tierney when Sidney Kimmel was a client. He was a mensch in every way and I'm glad I got to know him. May his memory be a blessing.

Hello Jaffe family. I had the great pleasure of getting to know Richard through work about 35 years ago. He was representing Sidney Kimmel when Mr. Kimmel was making his magnanimous contribution to what became the Kimmel Center. Richard was so smart and adept at client relationships. I learned a lot from him and enjoyed his wit, sense of humor and, of course, his dapper bow ties. May his memory be for a blessing.
