I was Maitre d' at Tavern on Green when Shelly opened (finally after the fire), it's somewhat overdue but I'd like to extend my condolences and my love. RIP Shelly.

Some people from high school you will always remember.Sheldon Rosen was one of them. He left his mark on all of us. My sincere condolences to his family.

I was so sorry to hear this. I had a lot of fun with Sheldon in high school- I remember we were biology lab partners and he very nicely did all the dissections and things for me.
I was looking forward to seeing him at our next class reunion.
Rest in peace, Sheldon

Rest in peace, Shelly. Glad to have been your first female bartender at Tavern...what a time! Deepest sympathy

So many good memories from Tavern on Green, including lotsa joking and laughs with Shelly. One evening, after the old hot air balloon races that used to start on the Parkway, we ended up at TOG, a large party of us, and proceeded to have (and entertain the entire dining room with) a "Who Has The Longest Tongue" contest, which was won that night by Lou Nolan, PA announcer for the Flyers. I never saw Shelly laugh so hard, he was in tears at our antics.
What a tremendous restaurateur and pioneer.

Shelly, can you even believe this? OY VEY Yes, you were such a huge presence and now you may not be here with us in one way but you will always be in my head.
