To the Vaughn Family,
Bill was head Marshal at Avalon when I joined over 25 years ago.I learned from him, put it to use and later held the same position for many years. He was a genuinely good man, a great husband, father and friend. His passing came as a shock to me and I will definitely miss him. Go with God.

Dear Aunt Lee, Billy, Collie, Mikey and Suzy, You are all in my prayers. Uncle Billy was one of the kindest people i knew. he always has a huge smile on his face....i'll never forget that smile. i remember how we used to love coming to visit you all and looking for him in the parade every year. I am glad we all had a chance to spend some time together two summers ago at my parents' house. i can't imagine how much he will be missed. Thinking of you all. All my love, Kathleen.

Dear Aunt Lee, Billy, Collie, Mikey & Suzie - Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. So many childhood memories with your beautiful, loving family...New Year's parades and your open door for all, Manahawkin visits in the summer...and Uncle Billy was always there, eyes twinkling and that big smile! I got to see him at Mom & Dad's and there it was...that great big smile-just like when I was a kid! We will always remember him and hold those memories in our hearts. With miles between our homes, we cousins have not seen each other in person for many years, but I hope you all know we are here for you if you need us.
Much Love,
Colleen Lafferty-Davis and Family

daddy how am i ever gonna be able to say goodbye? aidan misses his bff soooo much. thank god he was attached to ur hip for the 7 years he had with u so he'll always have memories to cherish!!! i so wish it was many more years so that you could have seen him grow and go to one of his major league baseball games but i'll know you will be the beams of sunshine looking down on him and all of us! i can't believe you will not be here to see ian drive and turn into the great man you influenced him to become or winter lee walk down the isle when she finds that perfect man to cherish as you and mom always did with each other. even at the end you were holding mom's hand as she laid next to you. i wanted you to be here forever to see my family grow up and hold their children. jim is heartbroken as well and you will always have a special place in his heart as well as all of ours and anyone else who was lucky to know you and spend time with you. you always treated him like he was your fourth son and not your first and only son in law and i thank you for that along with the wonderful life you gave me. i hope i can touch people in the way that you did. know i will always keep your memory alive and tell my kids and their kids stories of how wonderful and special you were to everyone!!! i love you daddy. good night, God bless you and I love you, angels on your pillow!

Aunt Leona & Family: Uncle Bill was some much fun to be around & had a great smile. His smile was missing for quite some time now because of his suffering, but I'm happy he's no longer in pain and now smiling down on us from heaven. He will be missed!

Aunt Lee, Billy, Collie, Mikey & Suzy.
I am so sorry and sad to hear about Uncle Billy. Whenever I think of him I smile remembering all the good times we shared. We had so much fun as kids down at your Manahawkin house and I always remember Uncle Billy smiling and being happy. He never had an unkind word, just encouragement and interest in whatever we were doing. I will miss him and his sunny smile but will cherish the memories always. I love you all. God Bless you.
Love & prayers.
