Patricia A. Davis

Patricia A. (Clements) Davis, age 86, of Cloquet, Minn., passed away Aug. 5, 2025 unexpectantly, in her home from natural causes. The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.
Patricia Clements was born March 17, 1939, in East Tawas, to Laurence and Gertrude (Bessey) Clements. She married James A. Davis on June 6, 1959, and was married for almost 33 years. Patricia resided in Oscoda, where she and Jim raised their family. Patricia remained in Oscoda until her retirement in August 2004.
She worked for 29 years as Deputy Treasurer for Oscoda Township. Upon her retirement Patricia moved to Cloquet, Minn. to be able to spend more time with her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, first and foremost, and she was frequently seen watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participating in various events.
Patricia was also actively involved with her church. She cherished her Grace Baptist family and received a lot of comfort and strength from her community.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Davis Sr.; parents, Laurence and Gertrude Clements; in-laws, Roy and Frances Bowlsby; siblings, Laurence Clements, James Clements, Marvin Clements, Harold Clements, Connie Brown, Jeryl Clements, and Robert Clements.
She is survived by her constant companion, Thor; children, James (Tanya) Davis Jr., and Barbara Anstett, Bette (Mark) Vichorek; grandchildren, Heather (Erin) Wright, Tiffany (Josh) Silbaugh, Taylor (Jestina) Vichorek, and Montana (Brad) Hemling, great grandchildren, Franklin Wright, Fiona Silbaugh, Dax Silbaugh, Reina Vichorek, Rosalie Vichorek, Amelia Hemling, and Emmett Hemling; siblings, Susan Davidson, and Walter (Deb) Clements; and many other extended family members and friends.
A service will be held at Grace Church, 601 14th Street, Cloquet, Minn., on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m. There will be a luncheon following the service at the church. The burial will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery in Oscoda on a future date.
