Wendy MacMurray Obituary
Wendy was born Jan. 10, 1967 in Mt. Clemens to Constance LeClair and Richard J. Durfee Sr. She graduated from Arenac-Eastern High School. Wendy worked many years as a Teller Supervisor for Chemical Bank/TCF Bank, retiring in 2021.
Wendy absolutely loved the outdoors, and the fun activities that she and her family would do together. She loved beautiful flowers, bicycling, kayaking, and just soaking up the sun on the beach! She adored her three pets that were such an important part of her life, Murphy, Zoie, and Carly.
Wendy is preceded in death by her father, Richard J. Durfee Sr.; and her son, Kenneth Robert MacMurray. Wendy is survived by her fiance, R. Matthew O'Dell; her son, Ian (Kaitlyn) MacMurray of Saginaw; her grandson, Jamie MacMurray; her mother, Constance LeClair of Tawas City; brothers, Rick (Vickie) Durfee of Prescott, Evan (Cindy) Durfee of Rockwood, and Mark (Norma) Durfee of Owosso; sisters, Debra (Scot) Morefield of Tawas City, Rebecah (Guy) MacMurray of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lauren (Jr.) Stolt of AuGres, and Katheryn Durfee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and so many friends.
Wendy was laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery in East Tawas and her family will host a celebration of her life at a later date to be announced. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in her name may consider either the American Cancer Society, Iosco County Animal Shelter, or the L.S. Ridge Horse Animal Rescue.
