Sterling,

My life was enriched by having you as a friend...my memories will always include your excitement in talking about the Green Bay Packers, your "prized" Volkswagon, and seeing you driving around in your blue van with a piece of cheese on top of it! You were never without a hat, nor were you without a helping hand to someone who needed it. I'll always remember you as one of those "miracles," and who lived his life as a wonderful example to others.
I'll miss you.

My deepest sympathy to Sterling's Family

Sterl and my friendship go back to 1944, 65 years ago, as kids in Union Deposit, PA. Later we were neghbors in Palmyra, PA. Our lives took us to different parts of the country, but we saw each other from time to time. We will miss him, as we send our sincere condolences to his wife Shirley and the family. Gone, but never forgotten.
