Danvers - Phyllis I. (Klosowski) (Breau) Ryan, 91, passed away in North Carolina. She was the wife of the late Maximillian Breau, Jr. and the late Earl James Ryan.
Born in Middleton on November 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Terance and Jane (Goreham) Klosowski. Phyllis was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School. She had a long career as a makeup artist, working for Macy's and Filene's. Phyllis enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveling. Most important to her was her family and she loved to spend time with them.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Michael Carkonen of North Carolina, two grandsons, Paul Breau and his wife Kristyn and Jason Breau and a great grandson, Owen. She was predeceased by her son Paul Breau and siblings, Jean, Joan and Terrance Klosowski.
Service Information: Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, 1 Margin St., Peabody. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Lynn. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org. Online condolences and direction are available at www.LyonsFuneral.com

Al & I enjoyed many memories over the years. It was work, play,travel or enjoying retirement in Sandpiper Golf. Phyllis and Jim were very special friends of ours. Will always be remembered.
