Celia del Junco born in Los Angeles on July 4, 1932, entered peacefully into God's arms on August 7, 2012. Married 57 years and survived by her loving husband Tirso. Cherished mother to Tirso del Junco, jr. (Patti), Robert del Junco (Debbie), Rose Marie Erickson (Jim),and Maria Elena Walker (Lester).
Beloved Mama to Deanna, Tirso III, Gabriella, Jamie Rose (Jason), Jennifer (Rob), James III, Jacqueline, Robert Jr., Michael, Matthew, Nicholas, Lester IV, Jonathon, and Michelle.Great-grandmother to Jordan, Amellia, and June.
Celia (Sally) felt privileged to have held the title of Dame of Malta. Her Catholic faith defined the gentle and humble woman she was.
A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., August 10, 2012 at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Pasadena. The Funeral Mass will be held on August 11, 2012 also at St. Philip the Apostle Church in Pasadena.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Casa Colina Rehabilitation Center Foundation, 255 E. Bonita Ave., Pomona, Ca. 91769 where she was lovingly cared for the last few weeks of her life.
