Craig Thom Obituary
Beloved husband, brother, father, papa, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at City of Hope on Thursday, August 23,2012 after a long battle with leukemia.
Craig was born to James and Bally Thom in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 15, 1949. Craig was the second of three children. He married his wife Darlene on July 4, 1970 and together they had three children, Clayton, Fraser, and Roberta. In Winnipeg, Craig was co-owner of Cindar Doors. In 1990, he and his family moved from Winnipeg to Upland, California. Craig worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years. After many years, he started CNC Motors, with his two sons. Craig was an avid golfer and member of Red Hill Country Club as well as a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Upland. He was also a true, giving, and compassionate friend. Craig was always helping those in need because he felt as though he was incredibly blessed in his life. Most notable of all of Craig's attributes was his love for his family. Nothing mattered more.
Craig is survived by his wife of 42 years, Darlene, children Clayton (Amy), Fraser(Michele) and Roberta (Carolyn), grand- children Madison, Craig, Ryan, kameron, Luke, and Austin, sister Cindy (Cliff) and brother Michael(Cynthia).
A memorial service honoring our hero, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend will be held at Goldy S. Lewis Community Center at Central Park in Rancho Cucamonga(11200 Baseline Road Zip 91701).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations made to City of Hope Cancer Hospital or Grace Lutheran Church in his name.

So sorry for your loss Darlene. We just lost Mark this last June 6th. I remember Craig as such a happy outgoing guy who started Mark on his never ending love for Coca Cola. I often see pictures of Fraser and Clayton and just recently Roberta. What a beautifully family you both created,something to be very proud of. Again I wish you all the best and may you have all your wonderful memories of Craig to sustain you all.
