First, my condolences to his family. He truly was a great person. Mr Lunt was my former teacher back in 98-00, I have so many funny memories being in his class. What made him loved by so many is how he ALWAYS was there for every and anyone who needed help. He´d always check with you to make sure you are ok. That what made him so different from so many teachers. He actually cared for students. He made sure you were ok.. We kept in touch after all these yrs, then to find out he was also my daughter teacher. He told her that he has memories of when I was there. And for him to remember all those yrs ago, that´s how you know you´ve made an impact and how much you meant to a person. That´s how beautiful loving caring of a soul he was.
We Love and Miss You..

Jjjohn....you always made me laugh! Even when I would see you at Lucy´s Restaurant..you always had your simple humor and called me Ccccchris! I had been wondering if you ever got your new hip!?! I got mine in July and immediately thought of you wondering if you were yet able to walk or run without pain. Guess you are pain free now! Say hi to everyone in heaven!

First off to the family, I am so sorry for your tragic loss.
Mr.Lunt was my favorite teacher in middle school and I had the opportunity to reunite with him when I was adult. When my daughter went to the same middle school he made sure to watch out for her. On social media he was such a big cheerleader for me and my daughter. Pretty much Mr.Lunt was an amazing teacher and even more amazing human being. He will be greatly missed, there will never be another like him.

Former student. Mr. Lunt was and still is one of my utmost favorite teachers I have ever been blessed with. The love and affection I know will be prominent in the community and those he touched. Such a beautiful human being, so tragic that he had to leave us. Greatful that we shared the same space, and I will forever keep him in my thoughts.
