Michael Clare Obituary

Michael Clare, 72, of Pomona, CA passed away on Thursday, Mar 27, 2008 of complications from cancer. He was born Oct 15, 1935 in Allegany, NY. Mike was an engineer for General Telephone Co. for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Flo; daughters, Ginny Williamson and husband Bill of Idaho, Vicky Clare, Janet Corey, of Chino, Barbara Skeldon of Rancho Cucamonga, Diane Ledestich and husband Mike of Kansas, Linda Church and husband Mike of Fontana, Peggy Clare of Westminster, sons, MIke and wife Pam of Arroyo Grande, Ken and wife Joyce of Texas; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Dave of Georgia and sister, Anne Bacco of Washington. Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 14th at 9 AM at St. Joseph Church, 1150 W. Holt, Pomona. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to St. Vincent De Paul c/o St. Joseph Church.

I am very saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Mike and I worked together at GTE for many years. I know of no one who did not personally like and respect Mike. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
