ERNEST GARCIA Obituary

Ernest Garrett Garcia, 27, of San Diego, CA went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2017. Garrett was born on January 12, 1990 in El Centro, CA. He was of the Holtville Viking Class of 2008. Garrett earned his Phlebotomy license in 2012; however, his love for technology took him to Las Vegas where he worked for T-Mobile phone service, where through advancement led him to his current position with Spectrum in San Diego, CA. Garrett loved listening and playing music, he loved going to the desert and hanging out at the Highline with friends, he loved sports, he loved his dog Faux and loved spending time with his family at Pismo beach. His personable charm, contagious laughter, and unending wit will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandmother, Lucille Mills and paternal Grandfather Armando (Al) Garcia. He is survived by his parents, Father Ernest (Celeste) Garcia of Imperial and Mother Lisa (Randy) McCoy of Holtville; his paternal Grandmother Ruby Garcia of Holtville and maternal Grandfather Jack Mills of Texas; his siblings, Faith and Landon Garcia of Imperial, Heather (Mike) Durnell of Temecula, Ashley Garcia of Virginia, Nathan Andrade of Florida, Joe and Kyrin McCoy of Nevada and Katie and Callen Scaroni of San Diego, and Jaycee Wilson of San Diego; his Niece and Nephew Sydney and Austin Hayes and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Celebration of Life to be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Cornerstone Community Church, Holtville, CA. Celebration of Life luncheon to follow service in church fellowship hall.

We will always remember Garrett's multifaceted personality and the time he spent in our home and with classmate TRAVIS SINGH. We loved his intellect, humor, and interactions with all of us. We had exploring discussions on scripture as he and TRAVIS were growing in their faith. With love and fond rememberances,Joanne, Jim, Joe. and TRAVIS SINGH

Garrett definitely was a truth seeker and through seeking was shown the truth of the whole bible, in its completeness, that explains his last comment on social media.
Garrett was always sharing what God revealed to him, from seeking so diligently and that's a blessing. Garrett was a true blessing to know. He was like a son, and a brother to Ty. We will miss him terribly, but we will see him again.

Garrett Garcia was a person i will always remember for what he has done for me when i need someone to talk too. He was in band with me when i was in high school. I am also glad that he was a truth seeker in yeshua. Graett was hungry for the truth. I am so glad i got to know Garrett and that he made me life a better place. if the son sets you free you will be free indeed. Praise God that Garret is living in a home that can't be taken away. I have been praying for his family and friends. this how we know if anyone is in God if they keep his commands and Garrett kept Yeshua's commands Praise God.
