Eugenia Hernandez Fuentes, 81, of Brawley, CA, was born on December 13, 1941, in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. She passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
Eugenia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Fuentes; her father, Martin Hernandez; and her mother, Maria Hernandez.
Eugenia is survived by her daughters, Manuela Fuentes and Monica Kaku; sons, Salvador Fuentes and Francisco Fuentes; and grandchildren, Kiana Kaku, Isaac Hurtado, Collin Fuentes, Tory Fuentes, and Logan Fuentes.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 6-9 p.m., with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m., at Fry Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley. Services will be officiated by Fr. Bernardo Laraand held on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley, CA. Burial will follow immediately after at Riverview Cemetery.
