ROBERTO "BOBBY" HUERTA DOMINGUEZ
Mar. 11, 1946 - June 7, 2012
Bobby passed away peacefully in his sleep to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 7, 2012. He was born and raised in Brawley and attended local schools. He worked as a truck driver for Marvin Young Trucking Company and Holly Sugar for several years. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and a member of the De Colores Cursillo of St. Margaret Mary's Church. Family and friends will remember him for his extraordinary smile, laughter, and loving personality. Bobby loved to spend time with family and friends expressing his views on life's philosophies. His hobbies included reading, looking-up vocabulary words in the dictionary, and watching the Lakers, Raiders, and Dodgers play. Bobby often referred as Sandy Koufax being the best pitcher he ever saw at Candlestick Park in the 1960's.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15 from 6 to 9 p.m., along with rosary at 7 p.m., at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley. Services will be officiated by Father Alex Aquino on Saturday, June 16 at 9 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Ramona Dominguez; brother, Enrique Rodriguez; sister Maria de Jesus Dominguez.
He is survived by his sisters, Martha Garcia and Olivia Dominguez-Ojeda; sister and brother-in-law, Carlos and Armida Benavides; brother and sister-in-law, Nolberto and Esperanza Dominguez; several nieces and nephews.
Bobby will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

My condolences to my compa Nolberto and his sisters Olivia and Armida on the loss of Bobby (Bird) He was a Lakers fan at heart, he loved "Magic Johnson" it was always fun to talk to him about sports because he was on top of that subject always. " Bobby you will be missed but not forgotten"

We wish to extend to you all our prayers in the loss of your Uncle (Tio) Bobby.
We did not know him but Knowing you our deepest sympathies we send to, you all. It is so hard to loose a loved one. Could not make the service as I went to Capt.
