ROGER RODAHL Obituary
Sept. 27, 1943 – June 10, 2025
Roger Rodahl, 81, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, at the home he built 60 years ago in Holtville. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Rodahl; his daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Bartt Ries; sister and brother-in-law, Tom and Joann Oliverius; grandchildren, Jared, Ashley, Kalli, and Paige Ries; and great-grandchildren, Evalette and Violette Ries.
In lieu of flowers, Roger's family suggest donations kindly be made to the Humane Society of Imperial County: 1575 West Pico Avenue, El Centro, CA 92243. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Casablanca, 2060 East US Highway 80 in Holtville, CA 92250.
This obituary is short and sweet, as per Roger's wishes.

My first boss, and best boss. Hangin' iron along side Roger was the highlight of my ironworker days. He would sweat alongside his crew, unlike any other boss. I'm grateful to have known him and will always cherish the memories from morning barrel fires, a scuba trip on the river, and finishing up jobs for local businesses. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Roger was one of the few general contractors I would work for. He was always pleasant whether it was working or running in to him on a ditch bank fishing. Our sincere condolences Betty, Laura, Bart and family. Another good guy - he will be missed.

Roger an Betty were a great couple, who treated you like family. When my brother passed in 2012 Roger gave me a painting of Buddies boat beside his old Rambler and it is something I'll always treasure. Roger will always be with you Betty. And Laura know you Daddy loved you dearly.
