My Family and I spent many summers camping at Knopps lake next door to Adam and his family. We always had a great time and then visiting with them more at the Downtowner (When it was actually downtown). I then went on to graduate high school with Adam. He was a great guy and I truly wish we hadn't lost touch. Friending him on Facebook just wasn't enough and I will always wish that I had reached out to him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed dearly

Adam was not only my uncle, but he was a very good friend of mine as well. We spent countless hours together, shared countless memories, and had our ups and downs. But he was always there for me, unconditionally. He was more than just an uncle to me. We pretty much grew up together, and I will forever miss him. I love you Adam and I know you are now resting well. I will greet you and Brother again in good time, but until then, may you shine your light down on those whom you loved.

I was floored by the news. I feel badly for the whole family and his friends and colleagues. My fondest memories of Uncle Adam are of listening to rock music with him in his room on his stereo. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
