I played high school baseball with Cliz at Howland High. He was a slick second baseman, a great teammate and a terrific guy. I remember going to Indians games in Cleveland and we would sit out in the outfield all alone, so Cliz could "broadcast" the game. He sat there and did the play-by-play as if he were in the broadcast booth. He was the only kid I knew in high school who knew for certain what he wanted to do with his life. I'm glad he made it. God speed.

Larry was great guy and very smart character. I’m saddened by his loss but happy he is no longer suffering. Prayers to the entire family in this time of grief!! His spirit lives on in the team he loved so much to cover. God Bless!!

I worked with Larry at WASK Radio in the late 70’s and 80’s; always enjoyed the time we spent together; had a great sense of humor, always made my day.

Larry was a longstanding broadcasting friend and will be missed on the airways. His talent of being behind the microphone was so interesting and enjoyable to listen to! My sincere condolences to Michelle and all of their families.

I only worked briefly with Larry in the mid-90’s... but what a guy. He treated everyone with respect and professionalism. Taught me a few things along the way.
