Rick and I were in the Class of '62 at Klondike High School, and we attended Purdue together.
I enjoyed talking with Rick and Chuck Newlin about Ham Radio. Always liked Rick's Call Sign: K9FTT--K9 Fox, Thomas, Thomas.
Rick's family has my condolences.

Thu and family. I'm sorry I never got to know Rick. I only saw him one time with his cousin Tom Carroll back when I was pre-teen. I sure loved his Mother Mable though. Mable was my Dad's 1st cousin. Grandma Morgan and Mable's mother Alice were sisters. I'm sorry for your loss.

My family, the Bob Sattlers, and Rick's cousins, the Swansons were great friends. One summer we all vacationed together in Missouri.Rick accompanied his cousin Ed on that vacation. They were 2 years older than I was but they could drive. That was my best vacaion ever since those 2 guys treated my like a queen and took me everywhere with them for the week.Rick was always a special friend. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My sympathy to the family of an old friend and also to all of his cousins that I grew up with, the Swansons, and the Scifres. God grant you all peace in the assurance of Rick being in heaven with his Lord and loved ones who gone before him.

May Rick rest in the peace of Our Lord. May Thu, Bob, Dan, Christina, Linda and all of his family and friends find comfort in the fond memories that we all shared with him. Peace be to all.

May God bless your family in this time of sorrow. Our family (Dutch and Pat Weaver, Jeanie, Butch, and Larry) were neighbors of the Maier family for many years. Rick's sister, Linda, was our favorite babysitter. We have so many special memories of the Maier family, and we send our love and prayers to you all.
