Greetings and sympathies to Wilma, Linda and everyone concerned. I have known Ed since 1st grade and spent many wonderful hours and days during grade school and Jr. High with Ed. Regretfully, as is often the case, our paths take quite different directions after high school and we lose touch with so many good friends. I was still very saddened by the news. Our prayers are with all family and friends both now and in the years to come.

Dear Linda and Toni:
I am so sorry about Ed's passing though I am sure that knowing he is out of pain must be reassuring. I am so sorry that I didn't come in on Monday when I brought the note over. I just felt that Ed had enough company there already. I'll always regret not speaking to him. He was such a good friend and neighbor. He always was so kind to me especially after Dick died. I could always count on him if I needed him.

We have been so lucky with our husbands, we both married wonderful men. God was good to us.

Linda, I am in El Paso with Ken right now and won't be home until the middle of January. Please know that you will be in my prayers, you too, Toni. I'll see you in January.

God love you both and may He bring you peace. Love, Ruth
