James Sanders Obituary

James "Bennie" Sanders October 16, 1949 – June 27, 2025 James "Bennie" Sanders, age 75, of Giddings, Texas, passed away on June 27, 2025. Bennie was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lois Sanders; his son, James Bennie Sanders Jr. of Giddings, Texas; his daughter, Lori Sanders of The Woodlands, Texas; his grandson, William (Sophia) Sanders; and great-granddaughter, Kennedy Sanders, both of Willis, Texas. A man of quiet strength, Bennie had a lifelong passion for restoring classic cars. Whether tinkering under the hood or sharing stories over meals at the kitchen table, he found joy in simple moments. One of his favorite pastimes was watching Gunsmoke, a show that echoed his appreciation for storytelling and old-fashioned values. Family and friends are invited to honor Bennie's life at a graveside service, which will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Harris Cemetery, Waymon Trail, Pocahontas, Arkansas. Bennie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. To send a flower arrangement in memory of James "Bennie" Sanders, please click here to visit our sympathy store.
