Thomas Hodge Obituary

Thomas James Leonard Matthew Hodge, 75, of Walnut Ridge, passed away August 22, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born September 1, 1949, in Manila, son of the late Thomas and Merlee Stillwell Hodge. Thomas was united in marriage to Sharon Murphy in 2004. He worked most of his life in construction as a heavy machine operator and enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, as well as watching wrestling and westerns. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two granddaughters, Angel and Debbie; and one sister, Lou. Survivors include his wife, Sharon of the home; six children, Tom Hodge and Carol Hodge both of Michigan, Tommy Hodge, Tammy Brandon, and Windie (Wayne) Gibson all of Pocahontas, and Crystal (Scotty) Wilhite of Paragould; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Ericka, Heidi, Franky, Austin, Buddy, and Haley; twelve great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be Wednesday August 27, 2025, at 2 PM in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Terry Songer officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hodge, Jr Gibson, Austin Gibson, Jarrod Moore, Gary Pratt, Scotty Wilhite, Tammy Brandon, and Amanda Eslick. Interment will follow in the Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 PM til the time of service.
