Shirley Coleman Obituary

JONESBORO - Shirley Coleman, 79, of Jonesboro, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 18, 1946, in Senath, Mo., to Prentice and Maxine Hawkins. Shirley was a cosmetologist and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed dancing, playing bean bag toss with her team, painting, and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Gary Hawkins.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry Coleman; daughters, Tracy Jones (Kevin), Penny Toombs; grandchildren, Ryan Jones (Abby), Josh Jones, Jake Toombs; great grandchild, Casey Jones.

The graveside will be held on Sunday, Aug. 24, 12 p.m., at Lorado Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave., Jonesboro.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Jones, Josh Jones, Jake Toombs, Kevin Jones and David Malone.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
