JONESBORO - Jerry Todd Donohue, 63, passed away on Nov. 24, 2024, at his home. He was born on Oct. 12, 1961, in Jonesboro.
Todd spent much of his life pursuing higher education. After graduating from Jonesboro High School in 1980, Todd obtained a bachelor's degree from Harding University in Searcy. He then went on to earn a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As an attorney, Todd served the Las Vegas community through his private practice until 2018.
Todd also spent his 63 years pursuing adventure. He loved traveling and being outdoors. Todd's love of the outdoors made him an avid cyclist who, when he was off his bicycle, enjoyed rock climbing and hiking in and around Las Vegas. More importantly, Todd leaves many loved-ones behind.
His survivors include: his daughters, Ananda and Fabiana Donohue of Las Vegas, Nevada; his father and stepmother, Jerry and Libby Donohue, of Jonesboro; his mother and late step-father, Wyveta and Rod Kirk, of Jonesboro; his brother, Dr. Cary Trent Donohue, of New Orleans, La.; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer Donohue-Goad and Stephen Goad, of Jonesboro; stepbrother, Dr. Coy Boyd, of Jonesboro; and stepsister, Dr. Carye Riley, of Atlanta, Ga. His niece, Katelyn Jackson Ruston of Memphis, and his nephew, Clay Jackson of Dallas, Texas.
Todd's maternal grandparents, Homer and Verta Gibson, and his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Ann Donohue, preceded him in death.
A visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

We were so saddened to hear of Todd´s passing. We have many memories of Todd from high school, Church, and Harding University. Praying God comforts you all in your time of loss. We know he will be missed.
