Celia Krinjak, 88, of Manchester, passed away on June 8, 2024. Daughter of the late Mary Wall and Stephen Bugnacki, Celia was born in New Britain, CT on May 23, 1936. Celia was an associate Sisters of Mercy for over 30 years. Before her retirement, she was employed by Purdy Corporation, and Coopers Lybrand.
Celia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dave Krinjak; her children, Roy Goff, Colette Goff, Nanette Dobkin, and Natalie Goff; her grandchildren, Maiko, Patricia, Sage, Nick and Tegan; her great-grandchildren, Sophie, Esme, Patricia, Lucy, Jack, Ion and Adler. Besides her parents, Celia was predeceased by her son, Kevin Goff.
John F. Tierney Funeral Home has care of the arrangements. It was Celia's wishes not to have a service, however, a small memorial Mass will be taking place at St. James Church, 896 Main St., in Manchester, on Saturday, June 22, at 11 a.m., please meet directly at church. Burial will take place privately and at the convenience of the family.

Dear Dave,
You and I go back a very long time, to our elementary school years. We shared our childhood together, played sports in Charter Oak fields, served our country, got married, raised children and have come about full-circle in life´s journey sharing our experiences . I knew Ceil as a penpal and knew from firsthand friends that she was a genuine "keeper". It´s obvious you had a good life together.
Sandy and I are truly saddened by your loss. We are all blessed to have shared the pleasures of a good marriage for more than a half century. For that we must be truly thankful.

Dear friend Dave, I'm so sorry to hear of Cel's passing. I remember her being a class act while we work together at Purdy. I remember her cheering us on at our softball games.. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
