Nancy Gates Obituary

Snyder Gates

On March 5, 2022, Nancy L. Snyder Gates, age 69, passed after a tenacious battle with pancreatic cancer.

Nancy put herself into her work. She earned a degree in business administration. After joining Liberty Bank in 1990 as an assistant vice president, eventually earning the title of vice president. She enjoyed her position and the travel it provided. Nancy made many lifelong friends over the years with Liberty Bank. One of her favorite things to do was to have lunch with her friends or even better to meet them at one of their favorite wineries.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father William (Bill) Snyder. She leaves behind to mourn her passing, Ann, her mother, siblings Karen, Judy and Bill, brothers-in-law Phil and Mike; niece Amy; nephews Jeff and Mike, wife Sarah; special godchild Michael E. and numerous members of her extended family.

On April 1, viewing will be held at Leete-Stevens, 61 South Road, Enfield, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a graveside service and reception to follow. Family welcomes friends of Nancy to be there to celebrate and remember her life.

Nancy was passionate about flowers, pinks and lavenders favored, but she also believed in charitable giving, particular to pancreatic research. Please feel free to indulge either passion.
