Raffaele Fiore Obituary

Raffaele Fiore, 93, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021.

He was born in Naro, province of Agrigento, Sicily, on Jan. 6, 1929. Raffaela was the son of the late Giovanni and Carmella (Rinaldi) Fiore. Ralph came to the United States as a young man where where he met his wife to be, Sally Vella. They were married for 42 years, before Sally passed away in 2003. Ralph was employed at the former Bigelow Sanford Carpet Company and later by the Town of Enfield.

He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Maria and Roy Sibley of Lenox, Massachusetts; two sons, John and his wife, Virginia Fiore of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, Charles Fiore of Enfield; seven grandchildren, Jackson, Joseph and Jacob Fiore, Cameron, Hannah, Jacqueline and Jason Sibley; two great-grandchildren, Rosalie and Philip Fiore; and a sister and her husband, Ignazia and Lilo Andolina of Naro, Sicily. He was predeceased by three brothers, Colegero, Vincenzo, and Luigi; two sisters, Francesca and Maria.

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at St. Raymond of Peñafort Parish at St. Patrick Church, 64 Pearl St. followed burial in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.
