Rose Pastula Obituary

Rose M. Pastula
Rose M. Pastula, 100, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025. She was the wife to the late Franis L. Pastula. Born January 14, 1924, in Coventry to the late Micheal and Helen (Dzwonszyk) Shirshac. She attended Windham Technical High School and went on to attend University of Hartford.
Rose enjoyed playing bingo and she loved watching her beautiful flowers bloom. She retired from BorgWarner Security Corporation, where she worked in the office for over 10 years. However, before retiring, Rose was also employed by United Aircraft Services as a greeter.
In addition to her husband, Rose was predeceased by her brothers, Micheal, John, Peter, Steve and Joe Shirshac, as well as her sisters, Mary, Margerat Desjardin, Ann Ege, Julia Drabic, and Mary Benjamin.
A Graveside Service for Rose will be held on Friday, January 24th, at 12 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, located at 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067. Holmes Watkins Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
