Stuart Dailey Obituary
Stuart E. Dailey, 76, of Freeport, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Manor Court of Freeport, with family by his side. He was born March 21, 1941, in Rockford, IL, the son of Harry and Mildred (Morick) Dailey. He married Sharon Hammond September 14, 1963; she died October 21, 2004. Stuart enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. Stuart is survived by his mother, Mildred Harbers of Freeport, IL; two daughters, Patti Dailey of Cherry Valley, IL and Lorrie (Jerry) Boomgarden of Freeport, IL; brother, Harry (Eleaner) Dailey; sister, Maureen (Doug) Baldwin; three grandchildren, Robert Yeagle, Jr., Jaclyn Boomgarden, and Joshua Boomgarden; also survived by his wife, Norine and her children. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon and his father, Harry.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home.
