Adam Matthew Winter

1978 - 2024

Adam Matthew Winter of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on February 7, 2024. Adam was born on October 30, 1978 to Steve and Dee Ann Winter in Beatrice, Nebraska. After graduating from Lincoln Southeast High School he enlisted in the Marines where he served for several years. After being discharged from the Marines he completed his degree from the University of Nebraska in Criminal Justice. After graduation, he moved to Colorado and served with the Colorado State Patrol for over 10 years.

In 2005 he married Kristen Luciano in Breckenridge, CO and went on to have two beautiful boys, Jackson and Tyler. Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Aileen Winter, Carroll and Janette Bolton, Dale Roberts, Richard Link and Patty Leinart and his father Steve Winter. He is survived by his sons Jackson and Tyler, the mother of his children Kristen Winter, his mother, Dee Ann Roberts, stepfather John Roberts, stepmother Janie Winter, grandmother Patty Roberts, brothers Chad Winter (Kelley), Justin Winter (Kim), Brett Roberts (Courtney) and sisters Michelle Roberts and Ashley Winter Anderson (Jason) and eleven nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday February 15, 2024 at 11 AM at the Lincoln Berean Church, 70th and Nebraska Parkway.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to The Shelter Foundation based in Littleton, Colorado who provide services to first responders.
