Services: 11 AM Saturday, November 1, 2008, at the Federated Church, Columbus. Family prayer service: 10:45 AM. Private family interment: Roselawn Memorial Cemetery, Columbus. Visitation: 4 PM - 8 PM Friday, Gass Haney Funeral Home. Memorials: Nebraska Nature Conservancy or the Columbus Public Schools Foundation. Condolences may be sent to www.gasshaney.com

Mimi, Nancy and I would like you to know how saddened we were by Dave's illness and death. We thought of him and prayed for him often.
His enthusiasm for life was contaigous and by all accounts, he took on this cross with the same passion and dignity that he lived every day of his life. That will be his legacy and one that his family can be comforted, knowing others will use to emulate.
