Ella Daehling Obituary

Ella M. Daehling, 95, Staplehurst, widow of Lester, died Monday (9/4/06). Born: Sept. 12, 1910. Member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (Marysville). 1928 graduate, Seward High School. Former teacher, Districts 44, 43.

Survivors: sons, daughters-in-law, Gayle and Ardith Daehling, Blair, Stuart and Patty Daehling, Staplehurst, Terry and Sandy Daehling, Lincoln, Randall and Patti Daehling, Lincoln; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: parents, John and Johanne (Bjerrum) Swanson; husband, Lester Daehling; five brothers, Andrew, Elmer, Lawrence, Mark and Silas Swanson.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (Marysville), rural Staplehurst. The Rev. Robert Wiest. Church cemetery. Visitation: 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Thursday, with family receiving friends from 6:30-8 p.m., Wood-Zabka Funeral Home, Seward; one hour prior to services Friday, church. Memorials to donor's choice, in care of the family. Condolences may be left online at www.woodzabka.com.
