Helen Alma (Fischer) Laughlin
March 28, 1931 - August 3, 2022
Helen Alma (Fischer) Laughlin, 91, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on August 3, 2022. She was born to John Henry and Caroline Hulda (Goldammer) Fischer on March 28, 1931, in Lohman, MO. On April 11, 1964, she was united in marriage to the Rev. Walter George Laughlin. She served with Walter at parishes in Dannebrog, Hampton, and Byron, NE, among others.
Survivors include her husband, Walter, Tulsa, OK; children, Stephanie (Michael) Mueller, Tulsa OK, John Laughlin (Julie Suhr), The Plains, OH, Michele (Bob) Peck, Waterloo, IA, grandchildren: Elsa Mueller (Anthony Filipas), Greta Mueller, Alane Suhr (Austin Alexander), Meredith Suhr, Alison Peck, and Ryan Peck, and sister, Viola Gordon of Sedalia, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nelda (Oscar) Strobel, Norma (Delbert) Liescheidt, and Donald Gordon.
Her funeral and interment was held August 7, 2022, at St. Paul's Lutheran in Lohman, MO. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Topeka, KS September 14th at 5:30 pm. Guestbook at www.trimblefunerals.com/obituaries/helen-laughlin
