Norma J. Klein

Norma J. Klein, 94, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2021. Norma was born on December 3, 1927 in Lincoln, NE to Katherine Leckei Wilcox and John Leckei. She married Robert L. "Speck" Klein on January 3, 1946 and they spent their 73 years of married life in Lincoln. Norma was a member of Ebenezer Congregational Church and was a founding member of the Shim Sham Senior Tap Dance Troup, tap dancing well into her 80's. She had a 27-year career in the criminal justice system in which she began as a switchboard operator in the Police Department and after many promotions, retired as the Lancaster County Court Clerk.
She is survived by daughter, Connie (Mel) Briles, sons, Bob (Cindy) Klein, Jimmy (Terri) Klein, seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many cherished friends. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Joann Waldman Larsen; numerous in-laws.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln 68510. Visitation will be 6:00P-8:00P on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the funeral home. The family will be present to greet friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ebenezer Congregational Church, The Capital Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be left at www.bmlfh.com.
