Russell Ellis Davis was born in Palo Alto, Calif. at Stanford Hospital, on January 17, 1948, to Ellis Dave and Bertha Irene (Barker) Davis. Russ passed away suddenly at the family home on August 14, 2025.
Russ is survived by his wife, Liz; daughter, Sandra Elizabeth King; grandson, Parker Ellis King (Hannah); great-granddaughter, Marina Raye with another great-granddaughter on the way that he was so happy about; and his cherished granddog, Jax.
Graveside service with Masonic ceremony will be September 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Unadilla Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed on the Fusselman Facebook page. Gathering with family from 1 to 4 p.m. at Glacial Till Vineyard, 344 South 2nd Road, Palmyra. Celebration of life to be held in Hayden, Colo. at a later date.
The family requests no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Western Colorado Peace Officers Association, 1200 N. Grand Avenue, Montrose, CO 81401. Condolences may be sent to the family at: 2672 Amber Spring Way, Grand Junction, CO 81506.

I will always be thankful to Russ. I went to work for him when I was 18 knowing nothing about car parts. He taught me so much and was very patient. It turned out to be my lifetime Career. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace Russ.
