Shawn Borck Obituary

Shawn Borck, 40, Fremont, died Sunday afternoon (5/14/06) at Fremont Area Medical Center. She was born Dec. 3, 1965, in Fremont and was raised there, graduating from Fremont High School in 1987. She has been with ENCOR since her graduation. Shawn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved to sing, especially in church, watch Lawrence Welk and Guy Lombardo, liked to play Chicken, and loved to dance.

Survived by: father, Rudy Borck, Fremont; sisters, brothers-in-law, Marva and Ronald Tonniges, Lincoln, Judy and Donald Berg, Dallas, Joy and James Connors, Amarillo, Texas; brothers, sisters-in-law, Rodney Borck and Linda, Naperville, Ill., Byron Borck and Beth, Santa Rosa, Calif.; special friend, Alberta Frankie, Fremont; 12 nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and -nephews. Preceded in death by mother, Rose Borck (7/10/03).

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Trinity Lutheran Church, Fremont. The Revs. Mike Meyer and Donald Levenhagen. Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 3-8 p.m. today, with family present 6:30-8 p.m., Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Chapel. Memorials established to Trinity Lutheran School Tuition Assistance Fund and ENCOR. Condolences may be left at www.lattindugan.com.
