Survivors: daughter, son-in-law, Tami and John Vance, Pleasant Dale; sons, daughter-in-law, Steve and Lori Stock, Lincoln, Andrew Stock, Murdock; grandchildren, Allison, Kayla and Garrett Stock, Thomas Vance; mother, Lorene Stock, Murdock; sister, brother-in-law, Barb and Dave Livers, Lincoln; uncles and aunts, Rueben and Eunice Stock, Eldon and Helen Stock, Lila and Bob Cole, Neva Stock; numerous cousins, neighbors and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Willard.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Murdock High School Gym. Pastor Jon Wacker. A book signing will be at Hammons Family Funeral Services from 1-8 p.m. Friday. No viewing. Memorials: church; or the family. Condolences may be expressed at www.hammonsfs.com.

I have such fond memories of visiting Murdock when I was a child (riding my bike in the alleys, Stock family reunions, etc.) I was saddened to hear of this family tragedy in a town that holds such a special place in my heart. To the Stock family: When there are no words, know that the silences are carrying the thoughts and prayers of all who love you.

Aunt Lorene, Steve, Tammy, Andy, and family and friends,
I pray that the Lord will hold you all close to him during this time of grief and mouring of Wayne and Sharmon. My heart is extremely saddened for you all. I pray that the Lord bring to the light that which is hidden and He brings you answers and His peace which surpasses all understandig. You can rest in the fact that both Wayne and Sharmon are in the presence of our Heavenly Father, where there is no more pain, tears, or sorrow.

Please accept my condolences in this horribly hard time of trying to find answers. Even though I hadn't seen Wayne and many others from the Murdock area for many years, this took my breath away. I can't even imagine what you must be going through. I didn't know
Sharmin, but knew a couple of her brothers from working with them at Cushman. Please know that my thoughts are with you, and also want to know, "WHY?"
