Abel Castellano Obituary

RACINE - Abel Castellano, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Christmas day December 25, 2011, in his home. He was born February 9, 1948, in Robstown, TX the son of Abel N. and Beatriz (nee: Rivera) Castellano. Abel was married to Constance Hansen on January 7, 1967 in Racine. He was retired from Chrysler Motors in Kenosha, and over the years enjoyed raising aquarium fish, weight lifting, working on cars, music and reading his bible. Survivors include his loving wife, Connie; his children, Dr. Abel R. Castellano, MD of Caledonia, Ill. and Carla A. Castellano of Racine; four grandchildren Bianca, Kevin, Seth, and Mairin; a special cousin Mary Venagas of Racine; along with other relatives and friends both here in Racine and in Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in Strouf Funeral Home, Pastor Tom Meyer of Eastbrook Church officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
