Mr. & Mrs. Hass, and Ms. Diaz,

I just found out today that Brian passed away and was very shocked and saddened. I met Brain through some fellow copper friends and he was just hillarious from the get go! His humor literally brought me to my knees several times. After leaving law enforcement several years agom I sadly lost contact with Brian. I can only hope that the spirit and memories of Brian, and his humor, can help to carry you all through this difficult time in your lives. My deepest sympathies to you all !

Sincerely,

Rick

Brian, I remember the night we rode together when we both just 'knew' the Pack were not going to pull that second one out! It seemed like we were the olnly two working that night and you taught me all about the Milwaukee and Chicago Italian 'business' history. I learned alot from you. You'll be missed brother - JEC

Mr. & Mrs. Haas, Words cannot tell you how deeply saddened I am about Brian's passing. I have so many wonderful memories growing up not only with Barb and Kris, but with Brian as well. It is truly like losing a brother, since both of you always treated me like a daughter. I address this to of course Barb, Kris and Lisa as well. Unfortunately there is no greater loss than that of a child. I hope that you can find peace in this time of great sorrow. Please know that your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. You are wonderful people.

It was a pleasure knowing Brian and getting together for the Sons of Italy meetings at the Italian Community Center. He was funny, witty and had a great sense of humor, how life can change for someone and the people they are associated with in an instant, makes a person realize how precious life can be. Brian’s contributions and recommendations to the lodge will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend and may the Lord welcome you with open arms.
