To Winona, Gail, Terri, and Steve and your families - What I remember most about your Father was his genuine broad smile and wonderful sense of humor. When we were kids, I remember coming over to your house and could just feel the love and warmth in your home and could see the deep love between Herman and Winona. I remember how he loved sailing and just doing different things around the house, but mostly how he rigged a cart behind Gail's bike. What fun we had riding around in that!!! I'm sorry I couldn't attend the visitation or the funeral today due to a doctor appointment. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathy to you all, but always remember and treasure the good times you all had with Herman.
