Ashley Elizabeth Liebl

Ashley Liebl Obituary

Liebl, Ashley Elizabeth Found peace with the Lord, passing away peacefully on Friday, February, 24, 2012, at the age of 32. Ashley is the beloved daughter of Joan and Gordon Liebl. Ashley will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters Gordy, Devon, Mallory, Griffin and Savanna, as well as her sister-in-law Polly, niece Ziva, nephew Jax, grandfather Gordon A. (the late Shirley) Liebl, grandmother Bette (the late James) Schutzman, aunt Yvonne and uncle David, aunt Cindy, and cousins Deanna and Megan. Visitation Wednesday, Feb. 29, at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 PM. Ashley graduated from Catholic Memorial High School where she developed many lasting relationships. She was preceded in death by a very special person in her life, Tom Reiten. Ashley was a very outgoing person who had a gift to strike up a conversation with anyone. She will be missed by all those people she came in contact with throughout her life. Go rest high on the mountain. Your work here on earth is done. In lieu of flowers, Ashley would have wanted gifts to be made to the Elmbrook Humane Society, 20950 Enterprise Ave., Brookfield, WI 53045. She was a great lover of animals.

Joan,
I don't know you and I know you don't know me but today my Fiancé and I visited the Elmbrook Humane Society and fell in love with Pepsi and Ripley. Once we showed interest in them the staff informed us that they had already been sponsored and were free to adopt. In their paperwork it had shown "sponsored by Joan Liebl". I googled the name and this came up on the list. I just wanted you to know they will have a great home and my best wishes go out to you and your family. I hope you find strength in this tragedy and I am truly sorry for your loss. Your daughter must have been a truly great person to have such a passion for animals.

Joan & Gordon, Your loss is incomprehensible. Though I did not know Ashley, my guess from the words written by others, the apple didn't fall far from the tree, which would make her quite a special person. Gaylene & I send our love & prayers.

We are so sorry for the Liebl family and your loss of Ashley. I can see her coming across the street for her trampolining munchkins, Grif and Mallory, smiling as she came into our yard. After a nice little chat she was off, taking them home for dinner or ice cream, and years later coffee. I recall enjoying the love shared by big sister Ashley and little Grif and Mallory. Kim and Deanna noticed it too, and commented on Ashley and her mutually adoring siblings. The Andersons'have very sweet memories of dear Ashley.

Joan and Gordy,
Dan and I were just so sorry to hear that you had lost your dear Ashley.
God has given us strength in healing with the loss of our Grandson, Tyler, 19, who passed almost a year and a half ago. There is no worse pain, than to lose your child, but God will also give you the strength you need to get through this most difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. With Love, Dan & Donna Brierton
