Dear Chuck, Deb, Colin, Julia and extended family,

I know that words cannot heal the emptiness that one feels at this time. We didn't know your father, but feel we do through all the kindness you all have shown us and our daughter. That kindness comes from a special upbringing. From what we have read it sounds like you have a part of your dad/father in-law/grandfather in each of you and no one can take that away. Our prayer for each of you is that time helps to lessen the hurt and that peace and comfort follow in the days to come. Your friends, the Berg's

Beth,

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. Seeing the picture of your dad has brought back a flood of memories of the time we spent together as kids. I loved, loved, loved being at your house because I could feel the love and warmth of your family. I know how crazy you were about your Dad, and I remember hanging out in the living room watching T.V. with your Dad on the recliner. He played with you and was around the house alot. How cool. I also remember that he could wrap his hands around your waist. We laughed and had so much fun at your house. This all happened so long ago, but the memories are deep and easy to recall. Love to you, your mom, and siblings.

Dear Chuck, Deb and extended family,

I just wanted to drop a short note to you after reading this evening the wonderful article in the paper on your dad. What a great man and what a blessing for all of you to have had him in your lives. Of course this is a sad time and my heart and prayers go out to you. May the memories of times past and the knowledge that through Jesus' sacrifice you will be together again hold you and keep you in the days ahead. I'm looking forward to meeting your dad in eternity.

Sincerely,

Mrs Beverly Karfinger and Cildren,

I write to express my deepest sympathy with each and every one of you at the paasing from this earthly life of your husband and father to the glorious new life where he will be able truly to raise his two hands in prayer for each of you.

While it is difficult to understand why such a good husband and father should pass away from us all at this time. Let us try and not ask a lot of questions that we might not get answers to but try and celebrate his beautiful life well lived here on mother earth.

Finally, let us remember that no gardener goes to her/his to harvest unripe products. Only the best and ripe products are harvested by the garden owners.

The world is God's garden and She/He the gardener desserves the best produce and She/He has made that choice though painful as it may be for us. Your husband and father lived well, served neighbors and God well, and God deemed him ripe to come home and enjoy his Master's masson and presence.

It is my hope and prayer that the Holy Ghost will empower each of you to show others the beauty of DAD's life by adhering to his many good and faithful teachings.

May his soul and the souls of all the departed rest in perfect peace, Amen!
