Carol Laine Obituary

Laine, Carol J. (Nee Tank) Born to Eternal Life on August 10, 2010, in Cedarburg, at age 78. Preceded in death by her husband Donald Laine, Sr. Loving mother of Don Jr. (Bobbi), Dyan (Stu) Hannam, Sandy (Ken) Beckwith, and Dan (Joan). Proud grandmother of Kristi (Romee) Johnson, Don III (Kelly) Laine, Jon (Allison) Hannam, Michelle Hannam, Ryan and Brittany Laine, and Danielle, Kayla and Kyle Beckwith. Adoring great-grandma of Corey and Alec Johnson. Dear sister of Ken (Marcia) Tank and Ron (Anine) Tank, sister-in-law of Viola (David) Halkola, and the late Raymond (Linda) and Archie (Helen) Laine, also many other relatives and dear friends. Carol graduated from Rufus King High School in 1949. She worked as a secretary in the guidance office at Cedarburg High School for 26 years, and volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital, Ozaukee, and Thorson Elementary School. A memorial service will be held on Sat., August 14, 12 noon, at Advent Lutheran Church, Cedarburg, Rev. Dr. Janis Kinens officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:30AM until the time of the service. A private family inurnment will be held at Zur Ruhe Cemetery, Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg or Kathy Hospice in West Bend. Carol's family wishes to thank the Rev. Dr. Janis Kinens, Dr. Zukowski, Alliance Oncology Center, Dr. Hoogerland, the staff of Kathy Hospice and Heartland Home Care for their guidance and loving care during Carol's illness. Family and Friends: We are all so sorry to hear about Aunt Carol's passing. She fought a brave battle and is now with Uncle Don and our dad, Ray. We will remember her with fond memories. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
