I remember every time we would visit grandma and grandpa's house in Milwaukee, there would be a gift from the Good Fairy waiting in the 1950's basement refrigerator. Many times it was a hard to find Fifty Cent piece along with a candy bar. We loved the simple pleasures of a prize that we could only get when we visited Grandma and Grandpa's house.
I also remember going on long walks with grandma and grandpa at Brown Deer Park to hunt for golf balls for me to practice with.
I remember being chased in the most cool yellow pedal car that we used to race around the block in.
I remember being taken to the circus, the Betty Brin Museum, Movies, the park, George Webbs, Discovery world, to see the wax janitor at the art museum, and the public museum. All these wonderful experiences are etched in my heart and helped to form who I am today, and I am eternally grateful.

Anne and Mary,
Nancy and I are sorry to hear of the loss of your father and regret we are unable to attend the service. Please accept our sympathy.
As you know, we've continued to play since our days together at MU and are both active with the Letter Carrier's Band currently. We've heard your dad's name mentioned many times in comments and stories about the band rehearsals and the convention trips.
There is still a dedicated group of musicians carrying on the grand traditions that members such as Casey helped establish with the band. The band played over 30 times in 2009 mostly for senior residence homes, assisted living, and nursing facilities. It is our hope to see you at the NALC picnic again this year.

We first heard about the passing of Casey from Jean Devlin. The old neighborhood connection is still alive and well. Will always fondly remember the neighborhood parties and the concertina playing.

Casey and I were in Letter Carriers Band for approximately 10 years and played for 3 NALC Conventions (Milwaukee, New Orleans and Atlantic City.) He was a devoted musician. Dorothy, you have my deepest condolences.
