Doris M. Reinke

Reinke, Doris M. (Nee Erickson) June 9, 2017. Age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Carl F. Reinke. Loving mother of late infant Karen, Dr. Kathryn (Trenten) Marty, Sharyn (Dr. Bruce) Berry. Dear grandmother of Andrea (fiance Mike Gorack), Ryan, Michael and Matthew Marty, and Dr. Andrew, Lauryn, Matthew, and Nicholas Berry. She is survived by nieces and nephews Russ Lamb, Barbara Massicotte, and Jerry (Elaine) Schleif. Doris was born on Washington Island, WI to Ole and Phyllis (Heilman) Erickson. She was raised by her aunt Kathryn (Trena) and Roy Richter following her mothers death. She moved to Milwaukee and worked in the offices of Globe Union, Kearny and Trecker, and retiring from Briggs and Stratton. She married Carl Reinke of Wauwatosa and raised her two girls in Wauwatosa. She was very active in the Milwaukee Bowling Association, Quarter Century Bowling Association, Milwaukee 500 Bowling Club, WIBC and USBC National Bowling Member and Wisconsin Senior Olympics in Bowling. She enjoyed the Wauwatosa Suburban Woman's Club and Hart Park Senior Club, and Briggs and Stratton Retiree Club serving on the Board of Directors retiring as club secretary. Doris (Nana) enjoyed her grandchildren's school and sporting events. Her passions were weekly league bowling, dancing and entertaining by playing the accordion, organ, and piano. Doris was the "life of the party!" Visitation on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Valhalla Memorial Park at 5402 N 91st St, Milwaukee, WI.
