Doug was so easy to work with as he tweaked my hearing aids to the optimal settings. He will be missed by many for his gentle, and expert touch. May he rest In peace. We just heard about this today... March 29th.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Doug's passing. When I started working at Costco three years ago, we often chatted and joked around during breaks and lunches. We had some wonderful conversations, too! I was grateful that Doug recently hired me to join his team of wondeful people and I was very much looking forward to working with him. I will miss his wit, his laugh, and his smile which he quickly offered to everyone. May warm memories surround you always.

I was so sad to hear this news today. Doug was a good friend to me over the last four or five years, and we spent many hours on the phone talking about our struggles. I loved the guy, and he managed to bring his wit and humor to bear on all the conversations we had. My heart goes out to his children and father, who he loved and cared for and always wanted to be better. In all, Doug was simply human, all too human, but I always felt a strong bond knowing that he never feigned pretension or superiority, he was always humble and himself, self effacing and self aware. I'm very sad to have lost such a friend that I always looked forward to catching up with.

I am shocked and saddened to hear this news. I only knew Doug during my adolescences, but he made those years full of joy, laughter, and love. I will always be grateful. I will never forget him. My heart goes out to his family.
