My deepest sympathies are extended to all of Jerry's family. I worked with Jerry just about 40 years ago. We worked together for his uncle R.S. Wilhelm along with Ernie, on 47th & North Avenue, in Milwaukee, WI doing painting and maintaining his buildings and his uncle's home. Later I went on to operate a restaurant in his uncle's building on 12th & State Street in Milwaukee, and Jery gave a lending hand so very often. We spent countless hours together and became very good friends. Being from West Allis originally, I would get in to see Jerry at his liquor store frequently. He was so happy when that liquor store opened and became a reality. He was a kind, honest and gentle man. I have often thought of Jerry in recent years but had no knowledge of where he had retired to. May God bless all of his family. I sincerely hope his retirement years were filled with tremendous happiness.
