Greta Mangnuson Obituary

Mangnuson, Greta L. Age 41. Lover of life, died of cancer, peacefully enjoying each moment while surrounded by her community of love on November 5, 2008. Those most precious to her were her husband Roger Zimmer, daughters Abby and Maya, mother Betty Schlagel, and sister Stacy (Bob) Upton. She is also survived by other family and many friends. Memorial gathering at the Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 9, from 4-7PM. A Memorial Service will be held at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee, 1342 N. Astor St., on Monday, Nov. 10, at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee French Immersion School P.T.A. or First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee are appreciated. Greta's legacy as a social worker and a force for good continue on in all the lives she touched. HARTSON FUNERAL HOME 11111 W. Janesville Rd.

I wish to extend my condolences to the family. I met Greta in the late 1990's when she visited Saint Louis. She was a very smart and a very nice person
