God so richly blessed many Garden Homes’ members through Herb's generous commitments to the Boys Club, later Pioneers, and various team sporting activities. His gentle leadership and devotion to church, school, & loving family were visible public testimony to a very strong Christian faith. During your sadness, may our Heavenly Father bring you comfort and peace with His promise of the coming eternal reunion.

Was out of town and shocked on my return to read of Mr. Gumtow's death. Please accept the sincere condolences of myself and my family. You all remain in our prayers, our thoughts and our hearts.
