James Bradley Obituary

Bradley, James A. October 29, 2008, age 77. Beloved husband of Pat Desmond-Bradley and the late Nancy Bradley (nee Bilda). Loving father of Maggie (Richard) Nottling, Patty (Greg) Preuss, Robert "Buz" (Amy) Bradley, Kristine (Nathan) Bayer and Erika Desmond. Proud grandpa of Daniel (Stephanie) and Michael Nottling, Scotty (Hong), Patrick, Bobby Preuss and Tristan Bradley. Proud great-grandpa of Christina Nancy Preuss. Dear brother of Bill (Janet), Sister Robert Ann and the late Robert (Ruth) Bradley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 1, at 10:00 AM, at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 12130 W. Center St., Wauwatosa. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Jim served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean war and served 30 years with the Milwaukee Police Department in the motorcycle unit, and finally retired as a CSO at the Milwaukee Federal Court House. Jim was also a member of American Legion Post Stenz-Griesell-Smith #449, the Marine Corps League, St. Jude League and Kiwanis Golden K of Elm Grove. If desired, memorials to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the caring doctors and staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. HARDER FUNERAL HOME 18700 W. We were unable to attend Jim's visitation and service, but we will always remember him for all he did for our condo association, and for just being a nice neighbor. May the Lord continue to bless your family with wonderful memories of a great husband and father.
