In these capacities, he authored several historical articles. They can be seen at http://huachucamuseum.com/exhibit1/vexmain1.htm. Under his management, the Fort Huachuca Museum became one of the first Army museums to be accredited by the American Association of Museums. Outside of work, he loved reading and writing prose and poetry, painting, and graphic design. After retirement, he served on the Cochise County Foster Care Review Board and as Treasurer of the Sierra Vista Symphony. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Huachuca Museum Society, P.O. Box 673, Sierra Vista, AZ 85636.
